Our guest house is located in Balatongyörök, 8 km far from Keszthely (the capital of Lake Balaton), together with a separated villa in the area next to it. Balatongyörök is a diamond of Lake Balaton. From Szépkilátó (a look-out tower) you can enjoy the sight of the Tapolca Basin, St. György Hill, Badacsony and Szigliget. The villages and towns of this area offer a wide range of programmes for tourists from the spring to late autumn.

At the numerous beaches you can find water-slides, animation programmes, wooden playgrounds, volleyball courts, buffets and rent-a-boat offices. You can also go on boat trips to Keszthely or Badacsony from the harbour at different times during the day.

The hills around the town are worth hiking, and it is also possible to go for longer walks or bike tours on the bike-road around the lake. Sports fans can enjoy horse riding, sailing, fishing, bowling and mini-golf, too. There are a lot of events for the lovers of culture and in the area as well: there are summer plays in the park of Festetics Castle, there is Balaton Theatre, and there are several festivals and museums. The region also has a lot of spas with thermal water: Hévíz , Kehidakustány, Zalaszentgrót, Zalaegerszeg.

This region is famous for its viticulture and wine making, which have been practiced for 2000 years now. During the summer season there are some wine festivals and the local wine-cellars welcome guests at any time of the year. "Pont olyan volt a szállás, mint a képeken. 4 hónapos babával érkeztünk, így fontos volt, hogy legyen kiskád és kiságy. Minden volt, amiért utólag is nagyon hálásak vagyunk. Egy nagyon aranyos és kedves házaspárt ismerhettünk meg a szállásadóink személyében. Csodás napokat töltöttünk a környéken. Babakocsival nincs messze a part, még jól is esik egy kis séta az embernek. Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek."

"A szállás pont olyan, mint a leírásban szerepel. Az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek, mind a két szobából ki lehet lépni a nagyméretű erkélyre a jól záró buktatható ajtókon keresztül, az ajtók rolós szúnyoghálóval ellátottak. A francia ágyas szobában LG led tv és t-home box is rendelkezésre áll. A fürdőszoba modern, hajszárító, szárító, folyékony szappan, légfrissítő is rendelkezésre áll. A konyhasarok jól felszerelt: kávét készíthetünk a pulton elhelyezett Tchibo cafissimo készülékkel, melyhez a szállásadók kapszulát is biztosítanak, microsütő, elektromos főzőlap, kenyérpirító, vízmelegítő kancsó is rendelkezésre áll, illetve természetesen poharak, bögrék, tányérok, evőeszközök, edények is. Az étkező egy légtérben van a konyhasarokkal ezen a részen helyezkedik el a légkondicionáló, illetve a normál méretű felső fagyasztóval ellátott hűtő. Tamás és Kata, a két tulajdonos, rendkívül közvetlen és barátságos személyiség, náluk nincs felesleges, vagy lehetetlen kérdés/kérés. Így mi biztosan visszatérő vendégek leszünk, legközelebb valószínűleg már több éjszakára. Kiemelném, hogy a szobák radiátorokkal felszereltek, így a szállás egész évben elérhető. A parkolás a zárt udvaron biztosított, az apartman utcája aszfaltozott."
