Steaua Dunarii Pension is the first built in the area of the natural Park Portile De Fier that opened for Romanian and foreign tourists. This happened in 2001 and it had been developing since then up to the present.

Being exposed to the sun the whole day, the landscape, the hills on the both sides of the Danube, the gorgeous way the Danube comes aut of the Cazanele Mici mountains, and farther on the stateliness of the peaks Ciucarul Mare (318m) and Ciucarul Mic (313m) on the left bank of the river and Veliki Strak (768m) and Mali Strbak (626m) are just a few things that could determine you to visit us.
