Vecsés Location: Vecsés is located in the geographical area of ​​the Danube in the Pest County with a terrace. On its eastern side, the Gödöllő hills stretch, and to the south the area between the Danube and the Tisza begins. It is crossed by the 400 main road, the Budapest-Cegléd-Szolnok railway line (Vecsés railway station and Vecsés-Kertekalja stop) and a part of Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. Easily accessible by road, rail or air. It is bordered by the capital Budapest, the village of Ecser, and the towns of Üllő and Gyál. Hungarians and the world know the city mainly because of its famous cabbage.

Calendar of Events
• Vecsés farewell: September each year. There is a 3 day farewell at Epres (Square next to Main Road), with lots of carousels, target shootings and fairs.
• Cabbage Festival: September each year. A series of cultural events with competitions and competitions in line with the city's traditions.
• Spring Festival: held in April each year. The festival lasts for a week and organizes exhibitions, theatrical performances and literary evenings at various venues. On the closing day, visitors will be offered a full-day program.
• Ágnes Bálint Fairytale Festival: held every year on the weekend of the Children's Day, inside and outside the Ágnes Bálint Cultural Center and the Ágnes Bálint Memorial House.
