Szieszta Vendégház Fony

The village of Fony is situated at the entrance to the picturesque Zemplén Landscape Area, on the National Blue Hiking Trail, 6 km away from the Regéc castle. The guesthouse is located in the village center, on a corner plot. The nicely planted Fő (Main) Square is in front, the Village House Museum, the Post Office, the Mayor’s Office and a long-distance bus station are beside it.

The building has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + WC, 2 well-equipped kitchens. Of the rooms, one is triple, 3 are quadruple, and three extra beds are also available. The yard is suitable for outdoor games (swing, seesaw, sandbox, skittles, badminton, football, constructed fire ring and garden furniture), there is an outdoor shower, the fruits growing in the garden (apricots, plums, walnuts) may be consumed by our guests as they like.

Meals (lunch and dinner) are possible on advance request.
Program offers: Forest hikes, winter sleighing possibility, visiting the nearby Village House Museum, Regéc Castle: 6 km, Fortress and a local history exhibition room in Mogyoróska: 4 km, Boldogkőváralja Castle: 15 km, historic church of Vizsoly (Károli Bible): 10 km, Hollóháza (Porcelain Museum): 33 km, Gönc (Hussite House, open-air bath), Kosice: 43 km, those wishing to explore Slovakia can thoroughly discover the region in 7 to 10 days.

Craft activities (glass painting, making sand pictures, painting, graphic techniques, pottery, wood carving, etc.) can be organized by prior arrangement for student groups and large families. In addition to the beauty of the landscape and the clean air, the arriving guests are met by an authentic village atmosphere, peace and quiet. Its good air, tranquility and peace make it a paradise for persons suffering from respiratory diseases as well as relaxation and recreation seekers.
