Pensiunea Bunica Eugenia Sibiel

Beyond the Carpathian chain, surrounded by forests and high heights, there is the Transylvanian countryside. There, the village of Sibiel was born a few hundred years ago, with Romanians who were both handsome and skilled, who gave the world the largest museum of icons on glass, the Pr. "Zosim Oancea".
After you pass by the name of the village, and leave behind the church "Sphinx Trinity" on your left side, you reach a bridge over the river with the same name as the village, Sibiel, or how I tell the elders of Sighiel. A small souvenir shop, near the river, delights your eyes with the marvelous peasant facades.
Skip the bridge, and sink into the middle of the village, on the cobbled streets on the left. There, at number 81, you can find the grandfather Eugenia's guesthouse, which first opened its doors to tourists in 1976. It was very hard ... when it was hardly known there in the village somewhere on the map the countries from which the guests come.
Here you will find traditional food, clean and well-kept rooms, and hospitable hosts.
The pension has 3 rooms with bathrooms, and 2 more rooms are served both by the same bathroom.
The courtyard, which is used both as a parking lot and for a playground, is a summer garden with multicolored and different flowers.
