Meduna Vendégház Várvölgy

On the edge of a forest in Pusztamező, in the heart of nature, the Meduna guest house awaits you and your family with much love in a quiet, peaceful, wooded setting. Far from the noise of the city, with a beautiful view of the slopes of the Keszthely mountains. Ideal for hikers, cyclists and families. The 10,000 sqm breath-taking estate with orchard and vineyards, offers baking/cooking/grilling/facilities. Locally sourced, excellent quality cheese, white and red wine tasting is available upon request.
You can visit Tátika Castle, Szigligeti Castle, Rezi Castle, Sümegi Castle, Stone Clock, Zalaszántó Stupa, which are within hiking distance. Keszthely, Gyenesdiás and the various beautiful beaches of the Balaton coast are also within a short drive. You can similarly reach the various beautiful thermal spas of the Balaton highlands and Zala county, such as Hévíz, Sárvár, Kehidakustány, Zalakaros or even Zalaszentgrót.
The place is ideal for a quiet retreat, for a peaceful contemplation. The village of Várvölgy is only one km away, where you can find a post office, church, St. Domonkos restaurant, bakery, well-stocked shop and the Farm54 Angus Beef farm on the outskirts of the village, where you can buy first-class aged steaks and other beef specialities.
The Meduna guesthouse is equipped with kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, 2 bedrooms, living room, open and roofed terraces. Clean linen/towels are provided and the house can accommodate up to 6 persons and an additional two persons by prior arrangement. (Two twin beds, bunk bed for four and a pull-out sofa bed in the hallway for 2 persons).
Discounts are available for larger groups and longer stays.
Small dog or even dogs are welcome, after prior arrangement, at the cost of 2,000,-ft/dog/night. Please note that only well-behaved, vaccinated, house-trained, and cat-friendly dogs are allowed. We also have two sweet puppies and two kittens near the house. A separate kennel is available on request.

The tourist tax (IFA) is 400ft/person/night, to be paid on the spot.
