Koroknai Porta Báránd

We await our dear Guests in Báránd, a village in Hajdú-Bihar County near Hortobágy, Hajdúszoboszló and Debrecen. We are a cultural manager-teacher couple with three sons who are at the age of 22, 20 and 15. We can accommodate Guests in two family apartments or in double or three-bed rooms. We have a big garden with entertainment facilities for children who can play table tennis, basketball, football, use a children’s pool or the swing, play in the sand, go cycling or try archery. We keep animals: goats, chicken, calves, horses, cats and dogs. Our farm that has a big garden with a lawn is an ideal place for families. Children always enjoy stroking and feeding our animals. They can even have the opportunity to try milking and collecting fodder. We produce goat cheese and prepare meals in an open-air oven. There is a possibility on our farm to go riding, go on a carriage-ride, try archery, or cook in the oven. In the village and its area Guests can get acquainted with the local folk art and craftsmanship like pottery, weaving and braiding with cornhusk. In case of bad weather we offer indoor activities in our “oven house” that is furnished with antiquities.
