Ipoly Vendégház Drégelypalánk

We welcome families and groups of friends wishing to relax and hike to our guesthouse situated at the place where River Ipoly meets the Börzsöny Mountains.

10 persons can be comfortably accommodated in 3 rooms. The house is made complete by 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a veranda. In winter, the stay is made more pleasant by the heat of tile stoves, in summer, the coolness of the house gives relief from the heat.

For families with small children, we can provide countless tools, from baby cot to toys, so as to make the time spent with us even more pleasant.

The kitchen of the guesthouse expects its guests fully equipped, there is a gas stove, dishes and a microwave oven at the disposal of our guests for cooking.

A fire ring awaits fans of outdoor cooking and roasting in the yard of the house, the glass veranda and garden furniture add comfort to the relaxation.

The surroundings of River Ipoly are suitable for pleasant walks, angling is possible in the river or on the Fahídi Pond and hunting is also available in the region's big game areas.

Carriage rides are available in the village and we will be happy to help you in arranging them.

The red tourist trail of the Börzsöny Mountains calls hikers to explore the Drégely Castle.

The Csitár Spring (Tsitár Spring, Kutyika) and a shrine, the Csitár Chapel, which have become a well-known pilgrimage site because of the spring, are located before Hont.

There are two tourist trails (blue and green) taking the hiker from the neighboring Hont toward the Börzsöny Mountains; the Hont Ravine is situated at the junction of the two trails.

The birdwatching site constructed by the road to Ipolyvece and offering a view of the Csadó swamp gives each visitor a unique experience.

Staying in the house is possible in winter and in the heating season as well, in these periods a heating surcharge applies.
