About Tapolca

The holiday resort, famous for its Europe-wide unique bathing complex, thermal, cave, lake and open-air bath, lies at the foot of the Bükk mountain range, in a scenic valley, 5 kms from the centre of Miskolc.

The spring-water of Miskolctapolca lends itself particularly well to treat patients for the disease of the respiratory organs and that of the sympathetic nervous system as well as to ease the complaints in connection with blood pressure and nervous prostration, and of course to relax. There is a boating lake and a park in the neighbourhood of the cave bath to amplify the entertainment facilities.

The bathing pond is partially covered by a shell-shaped roof, which makes open-air bathing feasible in rain or shine, while the guests can sunbathe and refresh themselves in the out-of-door area of the spa.
