Hajós-Ház Szeged

Hajós Apartments is a unique building situated in the center of Szeged, close to the river Tisza. It’s has been declared a monument because it was among the few buildings to have survived the Great Flood of 1879. The house and the apartments have been renovated in order to recreate the historic atmosphere.
The main square can be reached by car (5 minutes), trolleybus (10 minutes) or on foot (15 minutes). Even tough the city center is close, the internal garden of the house offers its guest private relaxation in a peaceful environment.
Our 2 apartments were named after the 2 rivers of Szeged. The ’Maros’ apartment’ is ideal for 2-3 people, while the bigger ’Tisza’ apartment can host 4-6 people. Both have separate entrances. Thanks to the facilities (fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, wireless Internet) it is perfect for a longer stay as well. We provide our guests with 2 free parking spaces inside the house. There are a number of restaurants nearby, we would be happy to recommend some good ones to our guests
APARTMENTS
We pay great deal of attention to carefully selecting the furniture in both our apartments so that it harmonizes with the history of the house, and creates a turn of the century atmosphere.
‘Maros’ Apartment
The ’Maros’ apartment is 27 sq m, it is ideal for 2 people, but even 3 can share it thanks to the extra bed. The 19 sq. m bedroom is equipped with TV, wireless Internet, air conditioning and quality mattresses to guarantee a good night sleep. The 19th century fireplace creates a unique atmosphere. Of course, we have fully functioning modern radiators as well. The bathroom has a washing machine, and the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a sink, a coffee maker, and an electric stove. These facilities make it ideal for a longer stay as well.
„Tisza” Apartment

The „Tisza” apartment is 66 sq m, it’d ideal for 4 people, but we also have an extra bed and a crib for babies. There are 2 adjoining and spacious rooms. The bigger one (29 sq m) has 2 separate beds, and the smaller one (20 sq m) has 2 beds next to each other. The renovated beds have modern, quality mattresses to guarantee a good night sleep.
The bigger room is equipped with air conditioning and TV. There is free Wireless Internet in the whole apartment. Both of the rooms have fireplaces, which create a unique atmosphere. Of course, we have fully functioning modern radiators as well. The bathroom has a washing machine, and the kitchen is fully equipped (refrigerator, microwave oven, stove, coffee machine, utensils…).
