Gesztenye Vendégház Nagymaros

Chestnut guesthouse is an "A" frame chalet fully renovated in the heart of the Danube bend, only ten-minute-long walk from the forest. It was named after the famous chestnut forests of Nagymaros. There is a nature trail called "Chestnut" within only a 10-minute-long walking distance from here.
Our house has a garden: around 1000 square meters, the front garden has two parking places for, and the back garden has a fire-pit where you can cook in a cauldron or grill your food on open fire. Our house is prepared for the winter days: we have air conditioning for heating. There is a fantastic viewpoint only ten minutes away from the house which provides a panorama the most beautiful part of the Danube bend:you can have a look at the castle of Visegrád, the Island peak (the peak of the Szentendre island) and the mountains of Börzsöny and Naszály. If the weather is proper, you can set up two tents-for four people. Guests are welcome all year! If you cancel your stay within 7 days before your arrival 50% of the booking fee will be transferred back to you. In case you bring your pet with you we charge an extra cleaning fee of 3000 HUF/per booking.

As we are not present when guests arrive, each and every guest has to do a digital registration with the help of an application before arrival as required by the Hungarian law.
We are going to send the step-by-step process where you can read about the scanning process (of your ID or passport)-and of course we will help if you have any issues during the process.
Check in is not possible in case you don't do the registration process!
