If you long for native plants, nature, peace, a beautiful view on the Danube river and the surrounding mountains, my wooden cabin is perfect for you. The house has a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace. The terrace is partly shaded by a majestic wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis) and it also has a sunny part. The garden is full of native vegetation. You can enjoy the sight of the local flowers and trees. A Natura 2000 forest begins right at the back of the house, so you can start hiking in the Börzsöny mountains right from home. To fully connect with nature there is no TV in the house. We offer you a free private parking place. The train station is a 24-minutes walk. Kismaros and the neighbouring towns offer various opportunities to pass time. In the summer you can swim in the Danube or rent a canoe/kayak. From the village centre a local forest train can take you to the heart of the woods. There are many unique local restaurants and pubs around. The ferry can take you to Visegrád, where you can visit the first Hungarian Royal fort on the top of the hill, and the renaissance castle of our greatest king Matthias. There are several spots for sightseeing within a 50 km radius, enough for a whole week. By train, even Budapest is only 34 minutes. You are welcome to spend time in our house for your holidays or use it as a home office.
