Lake Velence is one of Hungary's biggest natural lakes, a popular tourist destination. One third of the lake is a natural reserve covered in a romantic reeds. The lake is shallow (on average 1,5-2 meters deep), therefore it is one of Europe's warmest lake (can reach 26-28 °C) the lake is only 50 kms from Budapest, can be easily reached by train or bus. In off season, there are plenty of cultural programs besides the 2 nearby natural spas.

"Tiszta, kellemes hely, nagyon jó elosztású, tágas, rendezett."
"Nem tudtuk elindítani a klímát, nem találtuk sehol a távirányítót, pedig jó lett volna egy kis meleg - de ez nem eget rengető probléma. (Tudom, rákérdezhettünk volna...) A szállásadó a tetőtérben lakik, ami engem kissé frusztrált, de tény és való, hogy teljesen privát, saját terünk volt, és nem zavart minket. Hozzáteszem, néha lehetett hallani a lépteit, a pakolászást, takarítást."
