In the center of Umag we recommend visiting the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, we recommend a walk along the famous Umag Dam, to explore the narrow and interesting alleys of the old town of Umag, the new square embellished with a fountain, go shopping in the shops of the center or visit the stalls and the playground on the seafront for the delight of children.
To buy more groceries, we recommend driving a few kilometers to the largest and most convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine in Umag.

The picturesque artists' village Grožnjan has a beautiful terrace from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Mirna river valley. Motovun, the typical medieval town located on a hill, known for the film festival, which has been taking place in late July for years. Livade, the town known for its white truffle found in the nearby woods. For astronomy lovers and wishing to admire the sky and the stars, visit the Višnjan Astronomical Center, 30 km from Umag, by appointment. For cave lovers, visit the wonderful little cave of Baredine just 15 km from Umag. Don't miss the chance to visit Hum, the smallest city in the world just 60 km from Umag. Also interesting are the cities on the coast such as Pula, Rovinj and Poreč, as well as the Brijuni National Park which can also be visited with organized excursions. There are organized various "Fish picnic" boat trips, with picnics based on fish or meat during which you will have the opportunity to visit Rovinj and Poreč or Novigrad. Many tourists are interested in the wonderful day trip to Venice by hydrofoil. To the delight of children, visit the Istralandia water park 20 km from Umag and the Funtana "Dino park" theme park, where fun is guaranteed and makes the hearts of young and old beat faster.
