We are delighted to welcome you to Lavender Guesthouse! We opened our doors in June 2023 to host you all year round. If you are looking for rural charm, you have found the right place in the wonderful village of Golop, Zemplén County, neighboring Tokaj.

Important information about the tourist tax: Adults (18 and over): 430 HUF/person/night, while children under 18 are free of charge. The tax is payable on-site in cash and varies according to the number of nights spent at the accommodation.

We are pleased to announce that our guesthouse received an official 3-star rating from the Tourism Authority on July 10, 2023, thanks to our collective efforts. Our goal is to further improve and achieve a 4-star rating.

Our annual goals include introducing a breakfast cold package, creating an outdoor covered wellness area with a sauna and hot tub, and developing mini golf and tennis courts. Additionally, we aim to follow the principles of health and sustainability and expand local connections.

Our breakfast picnic basket will soon be available, filled with fresh ingredients supplied by local producers. These cold packages offer a rich selection, including freshly baked sourdough pastries, seasonal vegetables and fruits, homemade cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, milk, yogurt, muesli, country sausages, bacon, and pork rinds.

Our rooms feature comfortable double beds, spacious wardrobes, and modern media walls. Our bathrooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

It is important to note that a few aesthetic issues may be present in our accommodation, which you should be aware of before booking. We do not hide anything, and it is not our intention to conceal this from our guests.

- The windows and doors will be replaced after the 2024-2025 season with grant support. In the double-bed room, the window closes a bit hard, and both the double windows and the entrance door are outdated. During the renovation, we aimed to make the best of the old windows, so we apologize in advance.
- Occasionally, unpleasant odors can be experienced during rainy weather, which is unfortunately a peculiarity of the local infrastructure, but work is already underway on improving the sewage system in the village.

We are aware that this information does not fully comfort those who have experienced these issues, but we would like to emphasize that we have put a lot of work and effort into the house and are continuously working on improvements and repairs. Therefore, we inform you in advance to avoid any surprises for our dear guests.

We would like to highlight that the furniture, mattresses, pillows, and all equipment in our accommodation are brand new. Each room has been furnished with new furniture to ensure the utmost comfort for our guests. The mattresses and pillows are of high quality and newly purchased, ensuring a restful sleep. Throughout the accommodation, we have carefully selected new furnishings and equipment to create a modern yet homely environment. Please consider this high level of equipment when booking, which we provide for the comfort of our guests.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that it is now possible to pay with SZÉP cards. We provide a convenient and secure payment option so that our guests can fully enjoy their stay with us.
